Topic

Universal Basic Income

Defined by BIEN:

A basic income is an income unconditionally granted to all on an individual basis, without means test or work requirement. It is a form of minimum income guarantee that differs from those that now exist in various European countries in three important ways:

  • it is being paid to individuals rather than households;
  • it is paid irrespective of any income from other sources;
  • it is paid without requiring the performance of any work or the willingness to accept a job if offered.

Beer Review

Delirium Nocturnum

Initially, a very good mouthfeel of alcohol and softness. This is followed by an increasing bitterness, partially from the hop, but also from the roasted malt and chocolate malt. Towards the end a nice balance between bitterness, sour and sweet.

QnA

Question 1

Liz: I cannot believe that I have stumbled upon your site, though I can, but the odds are staggering to me right now, being where I am on the blood alcohol scale. Eh what can I do. A lot but right now. … Too many  layers of thought are peeling back in quick succession. It is a nice feeling inside of my head. I fear that your show may become addicting for my mind. High on thought works for me. You are both equally entertaining and thought provoking. I don’t recall either of your names and I suppose I should say sorry but why?  I am not being melancholy just too many Qs and As. Thank you.  I appreciate your podcast and both of your ideas being put to words.

I’m sorry I forgot to tell you where I’m from in the previous message. I am from southwestern PA. BTW, We have a deer issue here too.

Question 2

Lars: Hey guys, great episode on secret societies. I really enjoyed Josh’s song! I am writing in from the southwest, and I wanted to know what you think about the NSA and listening in on people’s conversations. In the 80s and 90s it was one of the biggest, kookiest conspiracy theories, but now it’s being talked about in the supreme court. I wonder what conspiracy theory will be next!?

Question 3

Steve Jewell: What is going on? I knew you fuckers missed me so I figured I’d come out of retirement and bless you both some things that have been on my mind. To be fair, you did say not to write any questions if your dumb, so I did some book learnin and hopefully got some zingers for ya. Also isn’t deeming something dumb purely subjective? The person writing the question might want your guys honest opinion and think that what they wrote was really profound, so quit quit shitting on dummies. That being said hold on to your hats.

Now last episode I remember James sharing has “story” about his dildo gag gift that he ended up enjoying so did he send them a thank you note. I’m mean it is the polite thing to do. Sorry I side stepped actual question, that made me remember a conversation Brian and I had where he claimed he would rather blow guys left and right in prison then be anally violated.  I think I’d be like Andy Dufresne from Shawshank and fight them off me. They might get some I’ll be damned if I’m giving it away. Granted I hope none of us ever get put in that situation but what you do, Brian has your approach to prison life changed? By the way Josh, I loved your toilet paper story, it hope a smile on my face.

Two more then I done. With Wrestlemania 32 coming up aside from Shane O- Mac coming back is there really any reason to watch. I remember going to B-Dubs and watching pay per views and seeing people fully invested in the outcomes of an acrobatic soap opera. Crying that HBK had to retire or that John Cena got cheated out of his title. I just don’t see that any more. Even on the Diva side of things, where’s the Trish Stratus and Mickie James battles or Melina and  Beth Phoenix fights. I recently tried to watch Raw and only made it like 20 minutes in and saw Ric Flairs daughter and turned it off. I guess what I’m getting at is where did things go wrong? It can’t be just that they are going for a more kid friendly market can it?

Ok, one last question then back to those books. Looking at the screen there’s way to many words on it and I don’t like it. Brian not to jerk you off or anything you deserve more credit then what Josh gives you because reading what I wrote I want to put a bullet in my head. James buddy I don’t know how you do it. This question is just for Brian, well if Maria was in the studio she could chime in as well but I just think Josh wouldn’t be as affected by the question. So here we go, Brian if you came home to a post op Maria having been transformed into Martin or put the shoe on the other foot Brian if you paid to become a Brittney, how do you think you or she would deal with the situation? I’m just saying the thought of either one of you as a women doesn’t paint a pretty picture, not that I’d be hot or anything but I’d fuck me. Your welcome and discuss.
